oo1. Common sense. Don't make mary-sues. Honestly.
- Try and be considerate. Keep gender ratio's even. There's a 3:1 ratio here. That means if you have three females, the next character you make must be a boy and vice versa.
- Don't make more characters than you can handle.
- Be aware of the setting when creating characters. Make the setting work for you and keep things interesting.
- Spell check your pages please!
oo2. Claiming Faces. Face claims are NOT REQUIRED.
- If you do chose a face claim, it must be an IRL face claim, not a cartoon picture.
- Nobody can have the same face claim.
oo3. Students. Acceptance to La Blanche happens when you are 14-15. Graduation happens at 18-19. It goes from grade 8 - 12. However, students that want to stay for post-graduation studies can also choose to take courses at a college / university level.
- Students have one elemental "power". This does not need to match their dragon.
- Students go home in the summer time provided it is safe.
- All students begin courses at a basic level for the first two years. Once they reach their third year they can chose to branch off into other difficulties.
- It is possible for students to fail grades and be held back.
oo4. Teachers&Staff. Teachers in La Blanche get very attached to their batch of students because the courses run differently than most schools.
- Teachers must chose an element and what level they will teach that element.
- There are different teachers teaching the same course.
- Special courses like DRAGON FLYING / DRAGON OLYMPICS / ART are taught as electives.
- Teachers also teach basic "real world" courses like math.
- There is plenty of room for staff, so get creative. Counsellors, janitors, the works.
- Teachers must be OF AGE. Sorry your teacher can't be some special prodigy that's 18 years old and teaches.
In order to qualify to teach in most places you must have at least taken four years of schooling post graduation, keep that in mind. BE LOGICAL HERE. I cannot stress this enough. Hot young teachers are cool but highly unlikely.
oo5. Dragons. Dragons are given to a student in the form of an egg during their first year at La Blanche. They hatch and grow to full size by the end of the first year.
- Dragons reside in the world of La Blanche. If a student wishes to take a dragon home to the "real world" the dragon takes the form of a domestic pet.
- When school is not in session, like night time, or the weekend, dragons are found everywhere. Most live in their own little coves or caves. Students can figure out ways to call to their dragon if need be.
- Dragons do not need to match the elemental ability of the student, nor do they need to posses any elemental attributes at all.
- You are free to design your own dragons. However, if you do decide to use a visual representation of your dragon we do not allow anything like this:
Why? Because your dragon will never be as good as Charizard.
We also do not allow any other pokemon, digimon, anything that ends in "mon", neopets, super kawaii anime dragons, do you catch my drift here?
- Additionally these are also not allowed:
This is a wolf with wings not a dragon. Any wolf / tiger / horse / lion/ rabbit / snake / dragon hybrid crap is not allowed sorry no sparkle pets.
- Dragons can come in many shapes and sizes, so be creative.
- Also nobody can Toothless he belongs to Hiccup.
